Learn why there's no start date, and the best times to end your auction.
Auction End Time:
Enter the END TIME of your auction.
This is the date and time that the auction begins to close.
There is no place to enter a start date--auctions go live when you make them live. Auction start times can't be scheduled in advanced.
Tip for using the "end time" feature:
If you don't know when your auction will end, that's totally fine. Some sellers will put an end-date way out in the future, and then they change it once they know when the auction close will take place.
- The best end dates are weekdays after 6:30PM.
- This might not be true for every seller in every situation. Learning your audience is key to developing your business strategy.
- Bidders are highly competitive and driven by entertainment! You will see a huge jump in price point as the first sale begins to close.
PLEASE NOTE:
Auctions go live when you select "start auction." You will not see this button until after the sale is created.
