Under the extra options menu, you can input a starting bid.

By setting a minimum starting bid for all lots, sellers are saying that, instead of defaulting to a $0 opening, all items will default to whatever value is placed in this field.
If a seller sets a $5 starting minimum on all items:
- You can still start individual items at a higher value.
- You can NOT set a lower value than the $5, since it's a minimum starting price.
Sometimes starting bids work, sometimes they don't. For new sellers, this might involve a bit of trial and error.
