How can sellers troubleshoot login issues?

Sometimes bidders contact sellers when they're having issues logging into their AuctionNinja accounts.

A bidder could be having issues for any number of reasons. 


If bidders are having issues with logging in, verify the following: 


  • Is the bidder typing their password correctly?
  • Is the bidder using the email address that is associated with their account? 
  • Have they reset their password? 
    • If the bidder didn’t receive the password reset email, ask them to check their spam/junk folders.
  • Do they have multiple accounts?
  • Is the bidder using the bidder login portal (v.s seller login)?
  • Did the bidder update their automatic password on their device? 
  • Ask the bidder to type their password in slowly and make sure the caps lock isn’t on. 

If all else fails, ask the bidder to call support. 


Support can set their password to something extremely simple so the bidder can login and change their password internally. 

If the bidder sees a notification that: 

  • Their account has been disabled, 
  • Their account is under review, 
  • Their account is unauthorized to bid

This means the bidder's privileges have been revoked for some reason. They should contact support if that's the case.
