Learn what consignors can see when given account access by sellers.
Bidder accounts and consignor accounts are the same account type.
This means, if sellers decide to give their consignor access (i.e, login credentials added when creating a consignor/client on the seller backend) the dashboard would look like a bidder dashboard.
In this example, the auction manager has not cataloged or uploaded photos of any items associated with this client. They have, however, associated the number of lots necessary for this individual’s sale. This is a common practice for auction houses that have auction managers or account managers run sales for specific clients.
If the seller clicks on the photo of the item, they will see an item listing with no active bidding available until the auction is live. Once the auction is live, they can watch the item throughout the auction process.
