# Can I block a bidder?

## Learn how to limit who can bid on your auctions.

Yes. Sellers are independent businesses with total autonomy on who can and cannot bid on their sales.

Go to clients → enter the bidder’s name → find “account information,” on the menu to the left side of the screen→ then locate “status'' under account information → change the status from active → inactive.

Enter notes, tell us why they’re getting blocked. We never challenge your decision or unblock them from your sales. If they call us to discuss the block, however,  it’s helpful to have context.

**Make sure to scroll down, and save the client.**
