Can I require an alternative payment?

How to create a default limit for automatic charging:

Go to settings --> select your payment processor --> you will see a box below your integration keys that will allow you to enter a maximum automatic charge.

 

When changed in settings, the maximum auto charge will be the default for all auctions without a specified maximum limit.

Setting a maximum charge PER AUCTION will always override this setting.

 

How to set an automatic charge limit per auction:

First, click auctions --> either select the auction or add new.

For the screenshot below, we selected "Add New."

 

Under the sales tax and buyer's premium section, you will see the maximum amount eligible for automatic charging.

This will override any amount entered under Settings (please see above).

When this feature is enabled, the seller assumes full responsibility for collecting payment directly from the winning bidder for any orders that exceed the established credit card processing limit. AuctionNinja does not facilitate, collect, enforce, or pursue payment on the seller's behalf for these transactions.
